Nuclear Cardiology procedures are safe , non-invasive & cheap.

It is an OPD (Out patient department) procedure, usually one day protocol study.

Patient can restart his/her day to day activity immediately after the procedure.

Does not have any side effects.

Sensitivity (89%) /Specificity (92%) significantly higher as compared to other non invasive procedures.
INDICATED IN :
-
Suspected patients of having coronary artery disease, history of two or more risk factors i.e., Hypertension, Diabetes mellitus, family history, continuous stress & strain, Hyperlipidaemia, history of long standing smoking etc.

History of previous myocardial infarction to assess myocardial viability before subjecting for revascularization procedure.

Post CABG/Post Angioplasty assessment of graft patency to rule out restenosis.

To assess haemodynamic status of borderline documented stenotic lesion depicted in coronary Angiography.

Patient of LBBB, left ventricular hypertrophy, female patients.

Patient suffering from Acute ischaemic syndrome etc.
